We believe EVERY CONNECTION COUNTS : TE Sensors Solutions seeks a design engineer with a mechanical engineering background to design and develop sensors for String Potentiometer applications. A?String PotsA? are cable:actuated position sensors used in automation, commercial vehicle, medical and other applications. Based in Chatsworth, California, this position will develop components for new designs, create test plans, and support sustaining engineering efforts as needed.ResponsibilitiesDevelops specific elements of small to medium size projects, considering performance/schedule considerationsDesign, design analyses, and development through production of position sensors Develop engineering documentationServes as core member on project teamsCompetent using technical tools : e.g. CAD, industrial or quality engineering toolsBasic knowledge of general engineering tools : e.g. LEAN, 6:sigma, DoE, FMEA, QFD, etcExperiences and Skills A: Engineering design and development experienceA: Demonstrated written and oral communication skillsA: 3D modeling capabilityA: Ability to work autonomously on multiple tasks a mustA: Skilled using Microsoft Office tools
