Job Description We are a family-owned construction company that is vastly growing looking for a project manager. The ideal candidate will be a go-getter with a team player can-do attitude. We are looking for a long term employee who intends to grow with this company. This position is very demanding and needs an individual that is ready for any challenge placed before them. As a growing company your role is to ensure that the project are run efficiently and effectively daily. Summary: Responsible for the day to day management of the contract jobs to include all aspects of jobsite safety, project planning, scheduling, quality control, budget tracking, change order management and staff development. Primary Responsibilities: · Attend all required meetings · Interpret plans and specifications for electrical requirements of project plans · Build and continued oversight of the project safety program to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements · Managing the project budget levels to ensure staying within the established budget · Plan efficient construction with foremen. · Create & manage the project schedule to ensure project completion within the required time frame · Create internal project milestone schedule with foreman · Manage day-to-day operations of active contract jobs · RFI & Change Order Management · Maintain communication with General Contractor project manager & superintendent · Oversee electrical construction activities to ensure quality construction · Provide guidance and mentoring to project personnel · Produce and assist purchasing with detailed bill of material. Includes tracking missing material and coordinating returns · Work with estimator to create submittal package · Delegate responsibilities clearly to manpower · Review and approve daily reports from field to ensure proper job task coding. · Anticipate man-power, materials & equipment needs · Make a minimum of weekly site visits (more as needed) to the job site to verify on time attendance and that field staff are moving forward with the work in a safe and efficient manner · Review monthly billings to customer Knowledge/Experience/Skill Requirements: · Strong understanding of the electrical construction process, methods, means and materials. Demonstrated by at least 10 years field experience and five years Project Management · Ability to identify valid cost savings or value engineered concepts. · Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills internally and be a “positive representation of our business to the customer” · Proficient with computers to include Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. · Competent in conducting all forms of negotiations. · Flexible Schedule, ability to manage jobs that range in scheduled shifts · Thrives in a fast paced environment · Detailed Oriented · Valid Driver’s License · Able to pass drug screen & back ground check To be considered: · Title your email "Project Manager" · Email your cover letter, resume AND salary requirements. · Include a brief explanation on why you think you are a good fit for this position Submissions not following these instructions, will not be considered.
