Position Summary:
HARMAN's diverse portfolio of businesses and customers offer interns a great opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of projects and practices. As a member of our team, your primary role will be to support the Professional Solutions Entertainment division with financial analysis and evalution.
Job Responsibilities:
: Analyzes and evaluates the company's operating results and financial position.
: Analyzes options for company improvement on expenses.
: Performs product line profitability analyses.
: Plans, develops, prepares, and maintains company's budgets.
: Forecasts accurate and timely cash flow projections, sales projections, capital, and expense projections.
: Performs ad hoc projects as needed.
: Performs monthly reporting duties for executive management review.
: Coordinate with all levels of management across functional areas and across multiple business units in order to gather, analyze, and prepare management reports.
Basic Qualifications:
: Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors Degree program at an accredited institution having completed your Sophmore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participation in the internship program and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
: Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
: Must have taken courses in finance, accounting, or economics.
: Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders and executives
: Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Eligibility Requirements
: Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work
: Must possess unrestricted work authorization
: Must provide full work availability from May 22, 2017 through August 18, 2017 and be able to work 40 hours per week
: Highly prefer candidates who live within a commutable distance
