Position Title:
Marketing/Sales/Outreach
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer FLSA Status: Exempt
General Summary: Professionally represent our drug and alcohol treatment and detox programs and services within the healthcare, business and recovery communities.
Essential Job Functions:
:Maintain working knowledge of admissions and clinical operations for each facility.
:Develop and manage referral relationships with detox, hospitals, treatment centers (alcohol and drug and other i.e. gambling, eating disorders, etc.) and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs)
:Manage calendar of events for conducting groups at local hospitals and ensuring that counselors are scheduled for those events.
:Manage and conduct professional group/individual On Site tours.
:Regularly tour other treatment facilities.
:Document and update all new potential and current referral contacts daily in BestNotes CRM database.
:Complete weekly highlight report.
:Complete monthly expense reports, including mileage and gas reimbursements.
:Up to 50 travel within geographical territory as per Chief Marketing Officer.
:National territories can also be pursued as a secondary priority. Key states for national are NE, CT, NJ, NY, CO, AZ, PA.
:Support Marketing Department initiatives as needed.
:Assist the intake, clinical, and aftercare teams with referrals as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Active listening : giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Speaking : Talking to others to convey information effectively.
Customer Service : Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Clerical : Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
Critical Thinking : using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Education and Experience:
: A Bachelors degree with specialization in Marketing/Sales or related field or an equivalent number of years of experience in the field.
: A valid California Class C drivers license and meets the requirements to be insured under agencys insurance policy.
Travel Requirements:
: 75 travel
Working Conditions:
: Good working conditions with the absence of disagreeable conditions.
