Magpies Softserve is a chef owned and operated soft serve ice cream shop in Tarzana. We make all of our softserve ice cream and toppings in-house, from scratch so you won't find any gummy bear or m&m topping here... We make every batch of ice cream with milk, cream or sugar. We also make vegan softserve using either rice milk, almond milk, or coconut milk. We use our softserve ice cream and toppings to create delicious layered ice cream pies and bars. Our goal is to exceed in customers' expectations in quality and service. We believe that great product can only get us so far and must be met with customer service from employees who CARE. We have built a great culture at Magpies, and we are excited to expand our hardworking team.

Minimum Qualifications-
--At least 4 days of open availability per week, including weekends.
--Must maintain a positive attitude in a high volume/customer facing position for 6-8 hours.
--Must be punctual and have strong work ethic
--Professional and cheerful personality is REQUIRED
--Food Handler certified

Our counter staff is the front line of Magpies! Counter staff will greet and thoughtfully explain our concept to customers. You are responsible for understanding our product, and explaining ingredients. Counter staff will take orders, prepare cup/cone orders and handle payments with each customer. Opening shift, employee will set up the counter for daily business. Closing shift is required to break down and sanitize one machine per evening.
