As part of the Camacho’s management team, the Assistant Kitchen Manager is responsible for a successful and profitable operation. The Assistant Kitchen Manager must plan, direct and execute successful kitchen operations on a daily basis. This includes managing kitchen staff, developing and training employees, ensuring quality and consistency in our product and presentation, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for both employees and guests.
DUTIES AND TASKS OF THIS POSITION:
Supervise and direct all kitchen staff on a daily basis to ensure compliance with all applicable food preparation standards, including company policy and procedures.
Assist Kitchen Manager in training, scheduling, discipline and evaluation of job performance and development of employees in your area.
Manage labor costs associated with kitchen staff following established budgets and targets.
Maintain all product costs associated with kitchen operations within developed budget guidelines, and ensure accuracy in ordering, receiving and inventory of all company property.
Ensure the equipment and facilities are maintained in operational, clean, safe and sanitary condition, and are in compliance with company safety programs and federal, state and local standards.
Ensure adherence to Camacho’s food consistency standards.
