You can expect a career full of brilliant possibilities.Job Responsibilities:- Analyzes and evaluates the company’s operating results and financial position.- Analyzes options for company improvement on expenses.- Performs product line profitability analyses.- Plans, develops, prepares, and maintains company’s budgets.- Forecasts accurate and timely cash flow projections, sales projections, capital, and expense projections.- Performs ad hoc projects as needed.- Performs monthly reporting duties for executive management review.- Coordinate with all levels of management across functional areas and across multiple business units in order to gather, analyze, and prepare management reports.Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics.- 1-3 years business experience or previous internship.- Strong analytical, written, verbal and organizational skills.- Strong work ethic.- Ability to think independently and function well in a team environment.- Ability to adapt to changing work priorities without loss of accuracy or time.- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:Results-Driven: Having a proactive, goal oriented approach to decision making.- General knowledge of budgeting, cash management and financial analysis processes.- Knowledge of SAP and Business Intelligence reporting systems preferred.Team Player: Having respect for colleagues; leading teams with clarity and accountability.- Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively work with all levels of a global matrixed organizationChange Orientation: Able to adapt to changing demands and conditions.- Act as a Change Management expert and enabler on various projects and programs across the businessCustomer Focus: Providing exceptional service and quality to external and internal customer.- Understanding and working in past organizations that have centralized and de-centralized structures as business requirements changeSelf-Awareness: Accepting responsibility for personal development and actions.- Have clear objectives and strives to exceed them- Takes ownership for personal career and skill developmentEligibility Requirements:- Willingness to travel 0-10% of the time- Willingness to work in an office in Northridge, CA- HARMAN will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
