Our client is seeking a Warehouse Fabrication Manager to join their award:winning boutique experiential marketing and event production agency. This role is for their fabrication facility in Santa Clarita, CA.
:Responsible for estimating, creating budgets, monitoring production and effectively producing
:Coordinate fabrication of all projects
:Engage in build planning, ensuring fabrication is conducted at the level of quality and efficiency to meet/exceed management expectations
:Monitor levels of project completion and adjust crew size and/or schedules to reach targets
:Communicate and brief senior management daily on productivity, timelines, projections, morale, etc
:Coordinate and maintain open communication with PMs and clients
:Ability to handle all one:off directives from management, flexible schedule, ability to manage on site or off
:Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals
:Manage and improve the overall operational and financial results of all production
:Keep up on market trends and potential new products or tools to increase productivity and/or cut costs.
:Excellence in finished product quality
:At least 5 years experience in Operations / Production Management and an understanding of Fabrication
:An understanding of different fabrication methods
:Bachelors Degree in Operations Management preferred but not required
:Experience with scheduling and production planning required
:Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule which includes extended hours and weekends
:Engineering / Estimating background helpful
:Proven track record in the management of company operations, finance, and quality assurance
:Ability to direct activities while ensuring a productive work environment
:Participative management type : advocates team concept
:Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities
:Well:developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities.
:Ability to establish credibility and be decisive:but able to recognize and support the organizations preferences and priorities
:Exceptional oral and written communication skills
:Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations
:Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
