As a Sr. Partner Development Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to enable and grow our ecosystem of Media and Entertainment partners. These partners consist of some of the most innovative Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), SaaS and PaaS providers in the world building solutions on the AWS platform in the cloud. The primary responsibility of this role is to define and execute go:to:market strategies with our partners that enables greater adoption of their core products and services. This includes driving deeper product/services integration between our partnerA?s products and AWS. The ideal candidate has the ability to influence decision makers at the executive level. They must demonstrate the ability to think strategically about business processes, growth requirements, and technical challenges specific to Media and Entertainment. Success criteria for this position is heavily metrics driven, which necessitates a candidate that is detail oriented. The candidate should carry a technical bias for all things cloud/AWS and application architecture. Additionally, the candidate should have deep understanding of the cloud ecosystem. This role sits at the convergence point between sales, marketing, product/services, legal, PR, and finance. The candidate must be able navigate these teams and their objectives with ease and prioritize accordingly, able to capably manage them to outcome. Develop and execute comprehensive go:to:market strategies with executives at some of our largest M and E partners Ignite growth in our partnerA?s business through creatively utilizing the resources provided by APN Drive deeper integration between our partnerA?s core products and AWSA? services Capably matrix manage multi:discipline teams internally and externally to outcome Develop and manage a joint pipeline with our partners Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (e.g. services teams, sales, marketing, PR, legal, support, etc.) to create new programs/strategies for addressing our partner ecosystem Contribute to the development of the constantly evolving AWS Partner Network (APN)The right person will ideally possess 10+ years of sales or business development experience in the software/technology industry5+ years experience working directly in the Media and Entertainment industry Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and AWS offeringsDeep understanding of the Media and Entertainment ecosystem, including extensive contacts throughout the industryDirect experience managing large partners at the executive level Strong technical acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving emerging/disruptive technologies like open source software, virtualization and Software as a Service delivery models.MBA or Advanced degree preferred
