Establishes and maintains profitable, quality loan and deposit relationships to businesses and professionals in accordance with Bank policy. Obtains appointments with prospects, evaluates the financial needs of the prospects and clients, obtains Bank approval to provide recommended products and services to specific prospects and clients, and coordinates tasks associated with assigned groups of business customers. Provides exemplary service to ensure customer satisfaction. NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENTDevelops new depository and commercial loan relationships and enhances existing customer relationships. Makes quality prospect calls and customer retention calls each month tomiddle:market companies in the local service area. Obtains necessary information forpreliminary underwriting purposes. Develops new business and referral sources. CREDIT ANALYSISManages the credit analysis process related to new loan requests, enhancements andrenewals through the service provided by the Portfolio Bankers. Monitorsand manages the quality and profitability of assigned relationships. Obtains Bank approval of products and services to be provided to prospective clients. Ensures that credit memos convey a thorough understanding of the creditworthiness of the applicant and the primary and secondary source of loan repayment and that credit terms and conditions are structured in a manner that adheres to sound lending practices and minimizes the risk to the Bank while meeting each customers credit requirements. Follows:up on annual credit line expirations and renewals as appropriate. CREDIT NEGOTIATIONSPersuasively negotiates credit pricing, terms and conditions with the managers or officers ofcomplex businesses to at least meet the Banks established minimum target yield relationships. Negotiates terms of credit agreements, including financial covenants andreportings, sufficiently to protect the Bank from excessive credit risk. LOAN DOCUMENTATIONCoordinates the documentation of extensions of credit. Ensures the preparation of loan andcollateral documents is in accordance with Bank policy. Maintains credit and documentationfiles in accordance with Bank policies. COMPLIANCE FOLLOW:UPIndependently monitors the financial condition of an assigned group of customers. Coordinates the follow:up for receipt of financial information as required to be submitted to the Bank by each borrower and review Credit Agreement enhancements. Coordinates the analysis of financial information, checks for debt servicing capabilities and reports adverse trends. Manages through the Portfolio Bankers the preparation of internal status and adverse grade reports where required. Schedules accounts receivable audits and examinations, and reviews the audits when completed. Complies with SAFE Act Regulations by registering with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (A?RegistryA? ) and maintaining and renewing registration annually during the renewal period from November 1st to December 31st of each calendar year. Supports Bank compliance efforts by completing compliance and other technical training workshops as assigned, Reads periodicals and attends external webinars/workshops to maintain an above average expertise of the trends in banking products, various delivery channels, regulatory, operational and compliance. Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and complies with all State and Federal Banking Regulatory requirements, including but not limited to BSA, Anti:money laundering, OFAC, CIP, Elder Care, Sexual Harassment, and Information Security and Privacy requirements. Ensures that the identification of Suspicious Activity or ID theft:related issues are appropriately reported, and that CTR preparation and/or the completion of all other required BSA/Compliance forms are prepared timely and accurately.
