The Operations Manager protects company assets by driving an operational strategy that is lean and efficient, ensuring compliance requirements set forth by local, state and federal regulatory agencies. If you are an eager, dependable, motivated natural leader with experience in Operations or Route Management, we encourage you today Key Responsibilities include team management of approximately 30 warehouse, plant and delivery/route team members. Managing day to day activities for the locationA?s business operations as it relates plant production/warehouse and delivery. Ensures customer retention by providing excellence in customer service and interaction. Responsible for setting and achieving departmental P and L and budget goals.Implements, creates and develops processes and procedures to assure daily operations are performing at optimal efficiency and product output meets demandProduct delivery routes are executed fully and efficiently, assuring customer satisfactionEnsure safety compliance procedures are met; work in tandem with corporate fleet operations for vehicle maintenance, DOT and general upkeep of delivery vehiclesOversees all regeneration plant activities including but not limited to: daily production, equipment maintenance, parts, supplies, and inventory, etc.Train, support, and develop subordinate team members to create a strong and efficient production departmentManage production and delivery expenditures by controlling labor cost and raw materials waste Responsible for all activities related to Health and Safety policies and procedures, controlling and monitoring for all departments Support and assists department managers and employees with any customer related issues Oversee and direct all facility maintenance and general grounds upkeep. Directly responsible for adherence to departmental budgets and P and L profitability Person ProfileExperience: Management experience necessary, prior background in route management preferred. Working knowledge of routing efficiencies and logistics management. Ability to understand the budgeting process and profit and loss statements. Strong Microsoft Office skills Personality: Organized and results:oriented with a positive outlook and clear focus for high quality customer service. Mature professional, comfortable dealing with difficult employee and customer concerns. Well organized with strong verbal and written communication skills. Management Ability: Excellent people management skills. Able to recognize, prioritize and accomplish daily, weekly and monthly goals by driving results and motivating staff to accomplish daily goals.
