Main Duties and Responsibilities: (see attached job description for additional details)
Assists the Director of Food Service to establish and implement food service procedures and programs, Federal and State Regulations.
Provides technical direction to Site Team Leaders and staff in connection with the administration of food service programs. Technical direction includes, but is not limited to, training, dietary matters, analysis of operations, efficiency or new food products, computer, automation, budgetary compliance, staffing, and customer service.
Assists the Site Team Leaders by coordinating food service program activities (occasional evening and weekend events).
Employee Supervision, Evaluations and Interviews.
Reviews work schedules, food safety procedures and monitors food service programs.
Completes Professional Standards Training.
Assists in Nutrition Education events and/or training.
Provides leadership for caterings and special events as needed.
May oversee purchasing, warehouse and distribution for food services supplies and equipment.
