Simi Valley Chevrolet has a rewarding opportunity for an aggressive Sales Manager to take advantage of our booming market area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of car experience at one dealership. Sales Management or F and I Management background is required. New cars experience required.

Sales Manager : Job Description:
This position contributes to the success of the dealership by successfully achieving sales goals and objectives relevant to the components of the dealership strategic plan.

Sales Manager : Job Responsibilities:
:Increase sales volume and market share
:Deliver an exceptional customer experience and maintain high customer satisfaction
:Hire, train and mentor sales staff
:Create monthly advertising plans based on manufacture incentives and available inventory
:Determine monthly and annual forecasts in terms of unit sales and gross profit
:Conduct sales meetings on a daily basis to review the prior days business and determine each days action plan using our CRM tool
:Establish sales objectives and plans for achieving them with each salesperson
:Display and merchandise new and used vehicle inventory on the lot
:Maintain training certification for each Manufacturer
:Attending to customer complaints, ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction is obtained.
:Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co:workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism
:Other duties may be assigned when needed
Sales Manager : Requirements:
:Education : High school diploma or the equivalent is required and a college degree is preferred with at least 3 : 5 years of
equivalent/relevant work experience in a dealership sales environment.
:Additionally, sales managers need to be comfortable managing people.
:Required to understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect their operations, and comply with these regulations.
:Must have strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors.
:Must be able to work extended hours, evenings, holidays and weekends.
:Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
:Valid Drivers License and proof of insurance are required.
:Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass an MVR and background check.
:Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time
(at desk, while driving, and/or on airplane travel) in an office/industrial environment
:Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions
:Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions
:Ability to lift 25:30 lbs.
:May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
:Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions
:Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
:Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
:Ability to hear in person and via phone
