The AP Clerk is responsible for the full:cycle A/P function. Duties include but not limited toMatch, batch, code, post and reconcile vendor invoices; Process payment batches and mail checks to vendors;Perform Payables forecasting;Identify invoice/payment discrepancies, research and resolve A/P issues with vendors. Where necessary, perform in:depth vendor payment analysis to resolve issues and discrepancies. Perform follow:up procedures as needed;Make adjustments to accounts as needed;Review unsettled/unresolved invoices for escalation to Supervisor.Maintain contact with vendors as required;Assist with internal and external audit processes as assigned;Perform sorting and filing duties;Perform other duties as required.3:5 years extensive A/P experience in a high:volume work environment required;Minimum high school diploma;Oracle experience or equivalent accounting software programs a plus;MS Office Suite with Excel skills;Experience with inventory control systems required;Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing required;Ability to work in a fast:paced with multiple deadline work environment is required; Excellent attendance track record required;Strong analytical and problem solving skills;Experience in entertainment industry helpful.Ability to assume a high level of responsibility and autonomy;Ability to interact with co:workers from all levels of the organization in a variety of situations;Ability to provide calm and polite customer service;Maintain a calm demeanor in a stressful environment with ability to adapt positively to changes in the work setting with ease;Fluency in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.Experience in entertainment industry helpful.
