We are seeking a self:motivated individual to report directly to the Accounting Manager at the corporate headquarters in Santa Monica, CA. In this role you will be actively involved in the financial reporting process, account reconciliation and will assist with the analysis and maintenance of numerous accounts on the income statement and balance sheet. This role will also require interacting with the supply chain and operations teams. What you will be doing at Beachbody as a Manager Compliance?Compile and analyze financial information to prepare and interpret various financial analyses, adjusting journal entries and document business transactions, as well as, Analysis and reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts.Work closely with the operations team on cost accounting functions, including, but not limited to standard costing and bills of material, outside processor inventory reconciliations, cycle count audits, and cost variances .Analyze and interpret inventory transactions and other related business activity for impacts on inventory valuation and cost of goods sold.Leverage financial reporting systems and other technology to ensure efficient and accurate data gathering and financial reporting.Work closely with various departments to gather and analyze data used for the preparation of journal entries, as well as, assist in establishing and documenting processes around the internal controls surrounding the tasks performed, as well as, attend various meetings and document recaps of items discussed. Wed love to chat if you have;Degree in accounting, finance or related field.Minimum 2 years general accounting or equivalent experience with knowledge of data analytics capabilities and experience with and knowledge of GAAP:compliant reporting structures.Must have a thorough understanding of the General Ledger and Trial Balance and the ability to formulate and implement well thought out solutions to day:to:day issues with minimal supervision.Team player that can thrive in a fast paced environment with excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills and has strong attention to detail while producing accurate and high:quality work.Strong written and verbal communication skills along with intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Excel skills.
