As a member of our team, your primary role will research and development of advanced electroacoustical transducers for professional application that will include computer FEA multiphysics simulations, prototyping and testing
Job Responsibilities:
1. Perform multiphysics (acoustical, mechanical, and electrodynamic) computer modeling of advanced transducers and waveguides for professional applications
2. Prototype and test advanced transducers and components
3. Assist transducer engineers in the research and development of advanced technologies
4. Assis transducer engineers with the advanced FEA multiphysics modeling and computer simulations
Basic Qualifications:
: A passion for improving the audio experience
: Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors Degree program in Sophmore year or later, or graduate/Ph.D program at an accredited institution taking at least one class in the semester prior to the internship program and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
: A future degree must be in related area of work with courses in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Math or related field.
: Previous entry level work experience strongly preferred
: Published results of the R and D projects in audio and specifically in transducers strongly preferred
: Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders
: Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
: Must provide work availability from May 31, 2017 : August 18, 2017 and be able to work 40 hours per week
: Strongly prefer candidates who live within a commutable distance
: Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work
: Must provide proper work authorization
