Position Summary:
Support North American Lighting Sales by fully supporting product ranges across all regions and for both internal (employee) and external (end users). Such support includes assisting in new product launches, support and training, and assisting with application sales. Helping provide full product direction for the entire sales force.
Job Responsibilities:
: Support sales with customer product demonstration, seminars and local exhibitions
: Responsible for dealer, staff and end user : product training
: Product demo stock handling and maintenance
: Conduct product presentations at local sales meetings
: Interact with and provide technical updates to sales department
: Attend and co:arrange road show, events and exhibitions
: Act as on:site problem solver on critical customer product issues
: Assist in validating product documentation
: Assist in managing Regional Product Lifecycles
: Assist in Regional Product Positioning
: Assist in Competitive Differentiation
: Liaise with HQ Product Management in the product development process and field testing
: Continuous feedback on product performance to local sales department
Basic Qualifications:
: Previous Moving Light product expertise
: Knowledge of the lighting business
: 5+ years related experience in industry
: Electrical or other similar technical background
: Experience within technical selling is an advantage
: Excellent verbal and written English language skills. Spanish/Portuguese helpful
: Experience with training and public speaking
: Solid presentation skills
: Familiar with MS Office suite and MS CRM
Preferred Qualifications:
: Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
: Ability to be 'on site' directly dealing with customers
: Can calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
: Able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
: Team player with a can do demeanor.
: Excellent networking, relationship building and sustaining skills.
: Strong work ethic and discipline.
Eligibility Requirements:
: Willingness to travel up to 50.
: Willingness to work in an office in Northridge, CA or Elkhart, IN.
