Job Description:/h3:
H2Scan is a world leader in making sensors for Hydrogen detection and measurement. All design and manufacturing is done in Valencia, CA. More information on the company can be found at h2scan. We are looking for a Senior Sensor Engineer with knowledge and experience in mathematical modeling, algorithm development, and system testing. Desired skills include programming, project management, and thermodynamic modeling.
Specific Duties:
Data analysis to review, improve and automate sensor calibration processes
Thermodynamic and kinetic modeling of hydrogen gas solubility in liquids and solids
Work with production during new products introduction and troubleshooting failure modes for existing products
Work with other engineering disciplines in providing solutions on a rapid schedule
Experience Desired:
Knowledge of chemical engineering and materials science principles
Knowledge of the thermodynamics and kinetics of catalyst chemistry and gas solubility
Knowledge of DOE and statistical analysis; strong data analysis knowledge

Understanding/hands:on experience in semiconductor fabrication and die characterization would be a plus
Qualifications Required:
4+ years experience with MS degree or PhD degree in a relevant field
Problem solving, critical reasoning and diagnostic skills
Ability to collaborate with others and execute experiments
Clear and persuasive written and verbal communication skills
