YP is looking for an Sr. Business Analyst for Monetization to join our growing Monetization and Audience Analytics team. Primary responsibility includes driving yield optimization initiatives across our Search, Display, and Mobile advertising networks. This role will combine strong analytical skills with program management skills. The analyst will identify opportunities to improve revenue or profitability and implement them across the business. A successful candidate will have prior experience in business analytics as well as demonstrated success in translating data:driven insights into revenue or efficiency improvements.

: Asses yield opportunities from multiple perspectives, understanding the monetization or engagement tradeoffs of potential changes, and recommend implementations
: Analyze and synthesize disparate data sources to formulate insights and communicate recommendations for optimizing business
: Drive optimization initiatives and tests across Engineer, Product and Sales teams
: Become subject expert in YP revenue drivers and the go:to person for strategic analysis on new initiatives
: Other ad hoc areas of analysis as needed potentially including product impact analysis, click cannibalizations, marketplace analysis, ROI analysis, etc
Experience and Role Requirements

: 3:5 years of experience in consulting, yield management, financial analysis, or business intelligence
: MBA Preferred
: Desired 1:2 years of experience in the digital advertising industry or online marketplaces
: Experience in developing models for optimizing businesses, increasing yield, developing revenue, or forecasting growth
: Demonstrated success in translating data insights into business improvements
: Ability to collaborate well with cross:functional team to inform decisions and drive change
: Adept at creative thinking, a problem solver who can connect activities to improving ROI
: Advanced Excel user with SQL experience; interest in learning HIVE; Experience with visualization software like Microstrategy or Business Objects also helpful
: Degree in computer science, economics, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative field preferred

Our Monetization and Audience Analytics team drives initiatives to improve the monetization of our YP site and mobile experience while delivering consumer analytics efforts to better understand how users engage with our digital products.
