The ISSM/IAMs primary function is working within Special Access Programs (SAPs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs, while supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies. The position will provide A?day:to:dayA? support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.Review, prepare, and update AIS accreditation packagesNotify customer when changes occur that might affect AIS accreditation/certificationPerform AIS self:inspections, provide security coordination and review of all system test plansIdentify AIS vulnerabilities and implement countermeasuresRepresent the customer on various technical review and inspection teamsConduct security surveys at subordinate facilities and gather pertinent security documentation for inclusion into system accreditation packagesCoordinate, prepare, and track AIS inspections, reports, and responses Maintain AIS security records and prepare Co:Utilization Agreements for network nodes operating within company facilitiesPrepare reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systems.Ensure AIS and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practicesPerform ISSM duties in support of in:house and external customersAssist Department of Defense, National Agency and Contractor organizations with the development of certification and accreditation (C and A) efforts Review, track, and conduct AIS trainingProvide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for team membersHands:on integration of workstations and peripheral deviceA?Bare:metalA? installation of operating systems, application software, development toolsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux and OS X environmentsRobust application of accreditation criteria to experimental, customized hardware and softwareHands:on configuration and management of networking and inter:networking equipment.Configuration and management of secure video:telecommunications systems and peripherals.Experience handling and managing COMSEC media and equipmentAll other duties as assignedCurrent Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility required 5 : 7 years related experienceBachelors degree or equivalent experience (4 years)Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraphMust be familiar with security policy/manuals and the appropriate DCIDs/JAFANs and other guiding policy documents.Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision Willingness to travel (not often)Current CI Poly is preferred
