Job Description:/h3:
We are seeking a creative, hands:on graphic designer with a premium, luxury aesthetic vision to work on a variety of digital design projects, ranging from developing and designing marketing emails and related digital assets to website experiences (landing pages, forms, etc.) to .gifs and animations. Additionally, the ideal candidate will also be experienced in supporting photo and video shoots and skilled at photography, video and animation editing. This position serves as a crucial resource to support all digital, social and ecommerce marketing initiatives as well as overall communications efforts. The role reports to the Manager of Marketing and Communications.
The right candidate will be dedicated to creative excellence bringing new ideas to the table that are consistent with brand style guide while working efficiently on multiple projects at a time and delivering a wide array of creative assets. Excellent organizational and project management skills are a must, as is the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast:paced environment. This person will have a strong appreciation for brand identity and standards, and will be consistent and detail:oriented in his/her execution, working hard to get the job done on time with tight deadlines. Passion for the art of graphic design, imagery still and moving, typography and the digital landscape is essential. Strong interest in, and knowledge of latest trends in social and digital media, specifically as related to design and design tools, is also critical. This position will work with the marketing team to support and enhance current creative assets and executions. A can:do, team:player attitude will help you succeed in this position.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Email design and ongoing production; Email prep for deployment including uploading into ESP software; Banner ad design and resizing across a suite of assets, including .gif; Social ad design, including .mov, multiple image ads (carousel) and canvas ads; Work with third party platforms like Criteo to ensure display meets brand standards and advise on adjustments as needed, as well as create
branded/promotional overlays for dynamic ads
Landing page designs and supporting collateral; Social posts ideation and design; Video editing for social; .gifs ideation and creation; Social template development for easy editing
Video editing (directly as well as working with, and directing, third:party editors to meet brand and communications requirements); Editing technology animations : e.g. adding supers, voice over, cutting, etc. (directly as well as working with, and directing, third:party editors to meet brand and communications requirements); Art direction supporting video/photo shoots; Photo retouching; Resizing images; Ability to take quality photos/video a plus
Press collateral: press kits, invites, and brochures, etc. (digital and print); Event signage and event kit concepts; Information sheets
Homepage and shop page banner design, with attention to mobile display; Landing page designs, with attention to mobile display; Blog posts support; Image optimization for web; UX/UI/wireframe experience
Uphold and help to evolve brand style guides along with larger marketing and design team; Maintain asset library in partnership with other designers and marketing team members
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in graphic design, advertising, or other relevant experience
3:5 years working as a graphic designer either in:house or in an agency environment
Experience in beauty or luxury/premium product categories strongly preferred
Exceptional skills with design tools including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Final Cut, etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
MAC and PC proficient
HTML, CSS skills a significant plus
Strong visual literacy
