Working under the direction of the Market Assignment Manager and Supervisor, the Market Assignment Associate prepares the sales reps market assignments based on YP policy and criteria with some input from sales management as well as all other initial market assignment rules and practices. He/she also re:assigns customers and associates/disassociates customers during a canvass as notified by Sales Management. All work must be completed within established time frames.
Duties and Responsibilities:
: Complete initial assignment of markets based on YP requirements. Following established revenue bands or other criteria designated for internal sales groups, build regional markets for Premise, Telesales and Direct Mail sales channels. After sales management approves the assignments for sales reps, perform a final database update to allow sales reps to access new customers.
: Prepare tables on routine basis. Utilizing CSS, prepare tables, which includes Canvass, Canvass Org, Canvass Segment and other tables as required.
: Complete reassignments request. As directed by sales management, gathers information from, and coordinate with, Sales Management regarding the requested rep assignments and reassignments. Review reassignments and alert Sales Managers when reassignments are completed. This activity should follow YP guidelines and timeframes.
: Process come:up files. Review information such as association, disassociation, notes and other data to process come:up files for all sales channels, which include unique instructions as compared to standard requirements.
: Identify and assign any unassigned accounts in YP markets. After initial customer assignments are completed, review the market for unassigned customers. Work with sales management to assign customers to appropriate sales reps and/or teams in accordance with internal policies and procedures. Update the Sales Managers regarding unassigned accounts when completed.

: Experience Requirements
: Moderate:level proficiency using MS Office; Advanced skills using MS Excel preferred.
: Experience working with a variety of CRM databases, tracking databases or related technologies; Experience working specifically with CSS, SFDC, Saturn, FMS Dashboard and A:Frontier preferred.
: Education Requirements
: High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
