The Creative Director will direct and oversee campaigns with multiple high:profile accounts. As a Creative Director, you will work with a multi:disciplinary team and are responsible for the creative strategy and general direction for Entertainment brands. In collaboration with art directors, designers, copywriters, and account and strategy teams, the Creative Director ensures the quality of the concept and work produced, and presents that work to the client.
As a Creative Director, you should be able to craft stories and elevate brands through campaign:level thinking and execution. The Creative Director leads and presents the ideation and design of engaging experiences through extraordinary print, digital, and experiential programs. Pushing creative excellence while mentoring staff talent is essential. The Creative Director will also be responsible for managing creative budget and working with account team to manage deadlines.
So heres what success in this position looks like...
Support the Midnight Oil Creative agency brand vision and platform
Skillfully interpret and address Theatrical, Television, Streaming or Gaming client expectations with core creative stakeholders
Direct creative development and implementation of print, digital, and experiential campaigns and programs
Oversee design of campaign across multiple touch points
Guide creative brainstorms, offering guidance and input as it relates to client/project objectives
Manage internal and external creative team members to deliver best in class creative and translate concepts into effective designs
Collaborate with Strategists and Account Team to achieve campaign/client success
Manage and develop talent, systems and processes to deliver great creative work against clients briefs, schedules and budgets
Incorporate business strategy and consumer insights into concepts and designs
Assume ownership of all campaigns/projects with minimal oversight
Contribute to the innovative development of the creative department
Present materials to clients with confidence, clarity, and personality
Evaluate current creative and marketing trends with respect to business objectives

Must Haves...
Proven leadership experience
Strong creative portfolio with 12+ years work experience in copy writing, art direction and/or graphic design
Minimum 2 years experience as a creative leader
Extensive knowledge and experience developing integrated campaigns for the Entertainment and Gaming communities, requiring imagination and or talent skills sets
Strong visual, written and image:making skills and ability t
